The best (and only) secluded beach in Mallorca
Discover the Hidden Gem: Platja des Coll Baix, a Secluded Beach in Mallorca.
If you’re looking to escape the crowds in Mallorca, look no further than Platja des Coll Baix. Located on the northern coast of the island, this stunning beach can only be accessed by boat or foot. If you don’t mind a bit of a hike, this is the perfect spot for you!
To get to Platja des Coll Baix, park your car at the Refugi de Coll Baix parking lot (you can use Google Maps to find it by typing in “Platja des Coll Baix”). From there, it’s about a 5 km hike to the beach. The trail is easy, but make sure you have good shoes because there is a bit of rock climbing at the end. When you reach the end of the trail, it may seem like you’ve hit a dead end, but that’s when you’ll need to start climbing around the rocks. It’s fairly easy, but it might look intimidating at first.
Once you reach Platja des Coll Baix, you’ll be rewarded with a secluded beach that’s perfect for swimming and tanning. Since this beach is off the beaten path, make sure to come prepared with food and water. It’s the perfect place to escape the crowds.
